• Zustand technisch

  Well-equipped car with A/C, power windows, electrically adjustable driver’s seat, and the finest factory-available radio/cassette player with equalizer plus electric antenna.
  The engine runs very smoothly, and the transmission shifts just as it should. The convertible top is manually operated and moves smoothly and easily. The air conditioning may need to be topped up or refilled.
  
  With the top up, some creaking and noises can be heard, which is not unusual for this type of car. A few extra relays and cables are visible in the engine bay, related to a kind of main power switch.
  
  Otherwise, the engine bay is impeccably clean, well-maintained, with everything in its place. Even the plastic reservoirs have retained their original white sheen.
  
  The service light is on, but the car has been serviced by the owner using the correct oil for a V8 engine. Oil and oil filter were changed in the summer of 2024.

• Zustand Interieur

  The seats, plastic details, and carpets are all in excellent condition. The convertible top has been replaced at some point in the 90s with a European model that fits better. The seats and textiles are in very good condition with some small stains - a detailing would bring it back to top shape.

• Zustand Exterieur

  The car has its original paint which has never been touched up or needed any repairs. It is in very good condition with only some minor stone chips and scratches on exposed areas, typical for a car that is 35 years old. There is a small dent on the front right fender edge. The convertible top is in excellent condition and the rims are also in great shape without any damage or wear.

• Zustand gesamt

  Very nice and well-maintained car with all original details intact. As these were often subject to various modifications and upgrades, this can almost be seen as a reference example of what an IROC-Z looked like when it left the factory.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .

• At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
• During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.

Important to know before placing your bids!

• Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
• When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
• If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
• If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
• Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
• For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
