Zustand technisch
The engine and gearbox feel tight and smooth. No strange noises or rattles. All electrical functions are in full working order. However, we do reserve judgment on the AC function, as it couldn't be tested due to the low outdoor temperature. The brakes also feel excellent, and the car tracks straight. Quality Nokian tires are mounted on the car. Both keys are included.

Zustand Interieur
Everything is in well-maintained condition. If there is anything to mention, it would be that the front seats have a slight pilling in the Alcantara. However, it’s hardly noticeable, and the seats are otherwise in great condition. The trunk looks completely unused. A fun detail is the seatbelt assistants, which eagerly extend the seatbelt before departure.

Zustand Exterieur
Shiny and well-maintained in both the paint and chrome. No damage, aside from a few minor scratches and stone chips. The tires are in good condition, mounted on nice rims. The glass and trim are also in great shape.

A solid, well-maintained MB with low mileage. If you're looking for a truly nice MB from the 1980s, this car is definitely worth recommending.

Fakten zum Modell
In 1986, the cars were updated with a refreshed body and modified engines. Among other changes, the new six-cylinder engines from the W124 were introduced. The equipment list was longer than that of the W116, with anti-lock brakes available from the start, and airbags introduced in the fall of 1981. Also, gas-hydraulic suspension, following the classic Citroën design, was available on the 500-560SEL models. This provided increased ride comfort, the ability to adjust ground clearance, and from 1986, with adjustable damping from inside the cabin, body lowering at speeds over 120 km/h, and a system to reduce body roll during cornering. A mercury pearl moved when the car rolled, guiding the hydraulic pressure to each shock absorber via electric solenoids.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
