Much has been repaired, replaced, and renovated on this very nice Corvette, including a new camshaft, aluminium cylinder head replacement, MSD electronic ignition system, spring leaf replacement, wheel adjustment and knuckle cross replacement, new brake callipers, 3:08 gear replacement (original included, see picture), and more. The car has been repainted. The gearbox was rebuilt, and a new clutch was installed. The air conditioner has been rebuilt, and a new compressor has been fitted. The steering gear as well as the fuel tank have been replaced. The seats have been refurbished, and the convertible top was replaced a few years ago.
In 2018, the car received new tyres. The patches visible in the photo on the convertible top are there to provide reinforcement against chafing. Anti-corrosion wax has been applied to the car's beams in 2019. The outside of what is accessible on the beams has also been treated with anti-corrosion epoxy and extra anti-corrosion protection. Rust Protection Methods, Vinsta, has protocols and photographs available. All receipts for parts and work completed by the prior and current owners are included, as is complete and detailed documentation.
The car's Swedish origins are well known. Documentation for the Corvette is also included, such as a workshop manual (available on USB memory) and a logbook. At Lundblad Motor Service in Bandhagen, bench trst the car and the engine produces 174.1 hp / DIN.

It performs well in the engine and driveline.The washer may leak, but a new brand one is included. The folding headlights does not operate, and the light button must be replaced. The driver's door lock can become twisted from time to time.

Fakten zum Modell
Tredje generationen av Chevrolets sportiga Corvette blev en riktig storsäljare trots att motorerna blev allt mindre redan efter några år. Corvette C3 presenterades 1968 och byggde på samma chassi som sin föregångare.
1973 kom den nya stötfångaren i mjuk plast och året efter var sista året med Big Block. 1975 kom katalysatorn och även den bakre stötfångaren börjar gjutas i ett stycke. 1975 blev sista året som cabriolet för C3.
Corvette C3 tillverkades fram till 1982.
Chefsdesignern Bill Mitchell hämtade inspiration från vattenvärlden och döpte då modellen till *Stingray".

- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
