The Cadillac, as expected, is equipped with PB (power brakes), PS (power steering), a four-speed automatic transmission, and a V8 engine with a displacement of 390 cu/in. The convertible top (which is new) can be lowered with just a finger on the control button. To avoid premature wear on the rear window, it's important to ensure that it doesn't fold the wrong way when the top is lowered. The engine has been fully rebuilt by a previous owner, although there are no papers to document it, the smooth performance indicates its likelihood. The brakes and chassis have also been renovated. The tires are in good condition. The AC hasn't been tested, but it appears to be original and complete, so it should be possible to get it working after inspection. The car has been recently repainted due to its proximity to a property fire. This resulted in several minor paint damages, which, instead of being touched up with uncertain results, led to a complete repainting.

In very good condition. The current owner had the car repainted due to several minor paint defects in the previous finish. New convertible top. The chrome has some pitting and a few minor damages, although these are not immediately noticeable at first glance. The chrome trim on the left front seat backrest side is worn.

Fakten zum Modell
Cadillac's Series 62 was a long-running model series that started in 1940 and ended in 1964. The common factor during this period was primarily the name and positioning within Cadillac's model lineup. However, the foundational body design was introduced in 1959 and concluded around 1963/64. The V8 engine with a 6.4-liter/390 cu.in displacement produced 330 SAE horsepower and generated a torque of 583 Nm. This gave the car respectable performance despite its substantial size, measuring over 5.6 meters in length. The 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) sprint was estimated to take around 10.7 seconds. For comparison, a BMC Cooper S 1275 from the mid-1960s managed a similar sprint in about 11 seconds.

- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
