This Vespa has had 7 owners since it was first registered. Since the 1980s, it has been owned by only 3 individuals. Upon close inspection of the scooter, it's evident that each owner has truly cherished their Vespa. The fact that a previous owner in Nyköping, who happened to be a watchmaker, installed a clock that looks almost factory-made, feels completely natural. As we review the accompanying inspection documents, we notice the name "Sportiga Marie" on the cover of the folder. The explanation is simple: that's the Vespa's name. It was named after Cornelis Vreeswijks' song "Sportiga Marie." The current owner is a genuine Vespa enthusiast and a member of the Skoghall Scooter Punx club. In 2015, he took over the responsibility of caring for "Sportiga Marie." He has taken exceptional care of her. According to the odometer, she has covered 4500 Swedish miles. However, the condition does not reveal her mileage. In 2017, the Vespa underwent a thorough technical overhaul. It's a rarity for a motorcycle to feature its own spare wheel, in a specially designed compartment. This clever feature is present in this Vespa. The motorcycle was last inspected by the vehicle inspection authority in 2018 and is now exempt from inspections under the vintage vehicle regulations. Zustand technisch
The scooter starts very easily and produces the right sound. It's equipped with a 12-volt electrical system. The engine underwent a comprehensive overhaul following all the proper procedures about 5 years ago. Please refer to the owner's comment for more details. There are no technical issues to report.

Nice and unusually well-maintained paintwork, reportedly done in the 1970s. There are a few minor marks and stone chips that have been touched up with paint. The front fender has a few more marks than the rest of the body, but nothing that disturbs or detracts from the overall appearance. Please refer to the images provided. New saddle of the correct design.

2017 lät jag helrenovera motorn. Jag hade motorn inlämnad till en erkänt kunnig Vespa-expert. Bland det som utfördes kan nämnas följande: Nya lager och packboxar samt borrade cylindern. Monterade extraförstärkt koppling och nytt växelkors samt bytte kickaxel. Samtidigt monterades nya stötdämpare och jag renoverade bromsarna. Även alla vajrar byttes mot nya 2017. Vespan är utrustad med fastflow bensinkran. Även sadeln är ny. 2017 monterade jag nya däck. Jag har kört ca 100 mil efter motorrenoveringen. Varav 30 mil i Tyskland under Vespa World Days 2017. Efter kontakt med föregående ägare så har vi kommit fram till att nuvarande lackering med största sannolikhet utfördes på 1970-talet. Klockan som sitter monterad behöver en översyn. Det medföljer lite sparade delar, bland annat original sadel och original koppling (se bilder) Det medföljer även en lös pakethållare som var extrautrustning.

Vespa 180 SS är en klassisk italiensk scooter som tillverkades av Piaggio mellan 1964 och 1968. Den designades som en sportigare version av Vespa 150 Super, men med en större motor och en toppfart på cirka 120 km/h. Modellen var populär för sin stilrena design och prestanda och är än idag eftertraktad av samlare och entusiaster.

Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
