Zustand technisch
Started up for sale and it is a few years since it last ran on the roads. At the last test drive everything worked and the 1800 engine was lively and the overdrive functioned well. Now it needs an inspection to get back on the roads but it should be a relatively straightforward matter.
Not checked on a lift but what could be seen looked good. -
Zustand Interieur
Good original upholstery with patina from use which with reconditioning can become even better. Good textile mats and fine headliner. Steering wheel (Moto-Lita), controls, dashboard and original Smiths gauges in fine condition. Period-correct Blaupunkt radio. Practical and fine luggage compartment.

Zustand Exterieur
Fine paintwork with mild patina from use, partly possibly original but showing signs of more recent repainting, the extent of which is unclear. Chrome, trim, emblems and lighting details in fine condition. Glass in good condition except for the windscreen which has sustained damage from a shelf in a garage and requires replacement. Fine spoke wheels and good period tyres. Period-correct Lucas auxiliary lights. Engine bay clean and well presented.

Zustand gesamt
MGB, with or without roof, has long been a coveted classic. Here you get a practical little car with good space. Furthermore, in fine condition, a delightful user-friendly classic from the British sports car era.

Fakten zum Modell
From 1965 the engineering was improved with a five-bearing crankshaft, oil cooler as standard and an electric tachometer. This year also saw the arrival of a smart and practical three-door 2+2 coupé version, called the GT, in a fashionably half-estate configuration for the time - design Pininfarina. All so that hunting, golf and other sports and leisure equipment could be accommodated in the sports car. Although there is another British classic that bears the epithet "dog box", this car is, if anything, even more a car for a couple of West Highland Terriers in the back. The small rear seat had a folding backrest. Two years later a six-cylinder engine was also available in the small car, both with and without a roof. The version with a roof was built 1965 - 1980. During the years 1973 - 76 it could be equipped with Rover's V8 engine. In total 513,000 examples of the MGB were manufactured, of which 125,621 in the Coupé version with the straight-four.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
