This sleek and stylish coupe was bought new by a lady in Filipstad in 1989. In 2012, it was passed on to the current owner. Due to work abroad, he is unable to use the car and is therefore selling it. After a period of storage in a garage, it has been brought out and is back in traffic. Inspected and approved by the vehicle inspection / MOT 2023-11-09.
The instruction manual is missing. One key is available. Spare wheel, jack, and the original tool kit are included. Also included is an unused set of aftermarket stainless steel fender edge trims

Starts easily and sounds normal. We could not test drive, as the car is only equipped with summer tires.

The interior is in well-maintained condition. There's some wear on the driver's seat backrest. The headliner is in good condition. Equipped with an automatic seat belt attendant. Original Mercedes rubber floor mats. The trunk is neat and clean.

In the 1980s, aftermarket accessories were sold that made the W124 resemble the more exclusive W126 SEC. Here, the hood has been modified with such a grill, as seen in the pictures. The paint on the hood and trunk lid has many scratches, as shown in the additional pictures. The rest of the paint is in normal condition. The body is straight and fine. The sunroof operates without any issues. There is some initial surface rust on the rear fender edge, but it doesn't seem to be major. See the pictures.

Fakten zum Modell
The C124 is the correct designation for the coupe version of Mercedes' appreciated W124 model. This series was produced between 1984 and 1997. The sleek coupe version, C124, was introduced in May 1987 – three years after the introduction of the four-door sedan. The coupe was based on a shortened chassis from the sedan, featuring the same sophisticated multilink rear suspension, but with a considerably shorter wheelbase. The coupe was initially launched as the 230CE. The 230 has a four-cylinder engine with 2.3 liters displacement and 132 horsepower.
However, the star of the lineup was the 300CE, which in 1990 received a 24-valve engine boasting 231 horsepower. The Mercedes-Benz C124 Coupe ceased production in 1996.

- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
