This car has a sunroof, a 4-speed manual transmission, leather upholstery, and a radio. It has had a few owners. It has a new exhaust system as well. The car runs and looks good, but it needs a start-up service because it has been garaged for a long time. A car that does not require extensive restoration and will be a fine classic car once serviced. Everything points to the car having "matching numbers."

The car starts and runs, but it need a check-up / start-up service. See photographs for a newly renovated top with stainless steel valve seats. The exhaust system was recently replaced. Due to a broken pump, only one of the dual tanks is used.

The inside has seen better days. The leather has a few cracks. Stains have appeared on the door sides and the decor.

Older repainting with cracks in old repairs and flaws, as shown in the photographs. There is also little corrosion and blisters here and there, which is common for a car in this condition. Chrome is in good condition with slight oxidation on the handles and moldings.

Fakten zum Modell
Jaguar Mk VII tillverkades i 30 997 exemplar under åren 1950 till 1956.
MK VII satte Jaguar på världskartan när det gällde fyrdörrars högprestanda bilar. Jaguar MK VII hade hela 160 hästkrafter som den 3,4 liters XK-motorn med urprung i sportvagnen XK 120 producerade. Toppfarten var över 100 MPH/160 kmh vilket gjorde den för sin tid världens snabbaste fyrdörrars standardbil.
Hög prestanda, god väghållning, gott om utrymme för fem personer i en mycket elegant och lyxig kaross var en mycket attraktiv kombination som även lockade välbärgade amerikaner med känsla för stil och tradition. Automatisk växellåda blev möjligt att beställa redan 1952. Det var framförallt en anpassning för den amerikanska marknaden.
De flesta MK VII exporterades, framförallt till den nordamerikanska kontinenten.
Något överraskande förekom den även inom motorsporten. På racerbanorna var det bl.a. Stirling Moss och Mike Hawthorn som visade vad de gick för. 1956 vann en MK VII Monte Carlo rallyt med en irländsk besättning.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
