If you've moved on from Volvo's more recent models, such as the 700/900 series, and want something a little more luxurious, a 960 or its successor, the S90, could be an option. If these have already been tested, there is another phase in development: the S90 Executive, which comes in a variety of configurations. The one shown above is one of those with the most advanced equipment, Level III, also known as Royal.
This car stood as a display car on the ground floor next to the reception at Volvo's factory in Torslanda between the years 1997-2001. After that, it was delivered in the fall of 2001 to a private person with a meter reading of 22 km.
The majority of this Executive Level III execution was exported. In addition to lesser equipment levels, this sports a rear centre console, electric seats, make-up mirrors in the ceiling, a champagne fridge, a Fax/Printer in the center console, and an Ericsson T32 in the center console. According to Volvo Heritage, 97 cars of this level of equipment were built. There are Nilsson/Volvo flag mounts available on the front wings. Take a look at the photographs.

Volvo S90 efterträdde 1997 föregångaren Volvo 960 som i sin tur efterträdde Volvo 760. S90 fanns som årsmodell 1997 och 1998. En kombivariant fanns också under namnet V90. S90/V90 fanns med två olika raka sexor. En på 3,0 liter och 180 hk samt en 3,0 med 204 hk.
Den lyxigaste varianten är Executive som är något förlängd och mycket välutrustad. Den var tänkt för direktörer, limousineföretag samt att användas vid statsbesök och liknande tillställningar.?

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
