• Zustand technisch

  The 239-cubic-inch flathead V8 starts easily and runs smoothly, as such an engine should. To achieve the whisper-quiet operation these engines are known for, an additional muffler would be beneficial. Otherwise, the mechanics are solid and straightforward.
  
  The engine was rebuilt some years ago, including new pistons, and the brakes are new. The steering box has also been refurbished. Electrically, the lights and gauges are functioning, though the radio is not. The rear wiring harness has been replaced.

• Zustand Interieur

  The seats and upholstery are in excellent condition, having been reupholstered at some point with fabric closely resembling the original. The floor mat has been replaced. The headliner and door panels appear to be original and are in good condition.
  
  The dashboard is in near-perfect condition, with all controls intact and looking excellent. The steering wheel shows minor cracks and wear in the Bakelite but is otherwise in very good shape.

• Zustand Exterieur

  An older repaint that shows signs of touch-ups, with a few areas where the polish has gone through. The front fenders and the right front door were repainted in Sweden with excellent results. Slight color variations are visible on the left door after touch-up work. There are some scratches, but the overall impression is very good, and the color suits the car beautifully.
  
  The body panels are straight and clean. All chrome is of very high quality and nearly flawless, as are the stainless trim and hubcaps. Upon import, a small hole was found in the left rocker panel and was repaired. Aside from that, the car appears relatively untouched, with the chassis and underside in excellent condition.

• Zustand gesamt

  A charming car that feels both solid and well-presented in a balanced, tasteful condition. The interior exudes a cozy, almost homely atmosphere, characteristic of American cars from this era.
  
  Not much is known about the car’s earlier history, but it seems to have always been kept in sound and drivable condition. The owner has found various signs, badges, and other items indicating that the car was exhibited at events and shows in the U.S. in past years.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .

• At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
• During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.

Important to know before placing your bids!

• Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
• When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
• If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
• If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
• Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
• For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
