Recently, on April 19, 2025, the car received a comprehensive service, carried out thoroughly and partly by the owner himself. This included an oil change, coolant, brake fluid, spark plugs, rotor, distributor cap, ignition wires, timing belt/drive belt, new tires, and servicing of the air conditioning system. The most recent approved vehicle inspection was completed on April 30, 2025.

The owner is a dedicated automotive enthusiast, and the car has been meticulously maintained mechanically, with everything in excellent working order. The service book includes detailed notes on all maintenance performed (see photos), including several timing belt replacements.
In a moment of youthful enthusiasm, the owner installed a stainless steel 3" exhaust system, giving the car a pleasant sporty tone and a distinctive tailpipe. -
Zustand Interieur
Clean and intact interior in half-leather, with minor entry wear on the left side of the driver’s seat. The targa panels are in good condition, seal well, and are easy to remove. The A/C has been recently refilled, inspected, and blows cold and efficiently.

Zustand Exterieur
Original paint with scratches and marks exclusively from its years in Italy. During transport from there, the original left side mirror was damaged, which is why the car is now fitted with aftermarket mirrors—these also feature integrated indicators. The dent on the driver’s door occurred at the same time.
The car is equipped with a set of new, high-quality Maxxis tires mounted on the original alloy wheels, which show only minor blemishes. -
Zustand gesamt
The car’s slightly weathered exterior is more than made up for by its strong mechanical and technical qualities. A visually patinated overall impression, but with plenty of reliable driving enjoyment under the surface.

In terms of design, it shared many visual cues with the Honda Integra, but with a distinctly British touch. The interior was classic Rover: comfortable, leather-trimmed, and relatively luxurious for its class. Despite praise from the automotive press, the 220 Turbo Coupé never achieved widespread commercial success—partly due to stiff competition, a high price tag, and Rover’s mixed reputation during the 1990s.
Today, the 220 Turbo Coupé stands out as a rare youngtimer, offering impressive performance and a raw, unmistakably '90s character.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
