The current owner, a Saab enthusiast and collector, acquired the car from a Spanish acquaintance—meaning the vehicle was imported from Spain. It’s in unusually good condition considering it was used in Spanish traffic, where congestion and intense sun often take a toll on materials. This example shows minimal signs of that, with only a few small door dings and some stone chips on the front.
The Saab comes with full documented service history. It’s well equipped, featuring part-leather upholstery, head-up display, 6-speed manual gearbox, air conditioning, and the Vector trim package. According to the owner, all onboard systems and features function as they should.
A very nice 9-5 NG that is becoming increasingly rare on Swedish roads—this one powered by the economical and pleasant 160 hp diesel engine. The odometer reads 129,530 km. Fitted with good Michelin tires all around. Drives like a much newer car!

Fakten zum Modell
The second generation of the Saab 9-5 was unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show on September 15, 2009. Development of the car was shared between engineering centers in Trollhättan, Rüsselsheim, and Detroit. On November 24, 2009, the first pre-production car rolled off the assembly line in Trollhättan. The sedan went on sale in June 2010 and received a 5-star rating in Euro NCAP safety tests.
Saab had planned to introduce a wagon version at the Geneva International Motor Show in March 2011, with sales to begin in April. However, that never materialized, as production at the factory came to a halt due to unpaid bills to suppliers and subcontractors. In total, 11,300 units were built.
Saab had entered into an agreement with General Motors that, for competitive reasons, prohibited Saab from producing high-performance versions of the 9-5 during the contract period, which lasted until the end of 2012. One workaround was to have a tuning company modify the car and then sell it under a different name. One such company that Saab had worked with in the past was Swiss-based Hirsch Performance AG. Due to the circumstances, Saab explored the possibility of collaborating with Hirsch to develop a higher-performance model.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
