Zustand technisch
Starts easily and runs smoothly. During a gentle test drive through a residential area, everything appeared to function well—including steering, gear shifting, handling, brakes, and more. The car has also been inspected on a lift, and everything looked solid and in good order—see photos.

Zustand Interieur
Elegant and upscale interior with normal wear and patina consistent with the car’s age and mileage. Door panels, interior trim, carpets, and headliner are all in good condition. Steering wheel, controls, gauges, and instruments are also in nice shape, with the usual "stickiness" found on some buttons. All electrical functions work well, and the AC blows cold. Pleasant electric sunroof with fully functioning controls.

Zustand Exterieur
Nice paintwork that appears to be original. Shows normal wear for its age and mileage, with a few scratches and stone chips. Glass, trim, emblems, and lighting elements are in good condition. Attractive original wheels with good tires. Both the engine bay and trunk are in good condition. In one of the photos, part of the trunk lining had come loose, but it has since been reattached with clips and now sits as it should—see photos.

This is an exclusive and striking sports sedan from Maserati, built during the era when key collaborations within the group—most notably with Ferrari—began to take shape. Presented here in a beautiful color combination, it’s in fine and well-functioning condition. With 20 years under its belt, it’s transitioning from a daily driver to a future classic and enthusiast vehicle.

Fakten zum Modell
År 1937 såldes företaget till den italienske entreprenören Adolfo Orsi. Under hans ledning lanserades, utöver tävlingsvagnar, ett antal ikoniska GT-modeller som snabbt blev populära bland dåtidens jetset. Mot slutet av 1960-talet drabbades företaget av ekonomiska svårigheter och Citroën gick in som delägare, för att 1971 ta över helt. Resultatet blev bland annat modellen Citroën SM, men den ekonomiska situationen blev katastrofal. Slutligen hamnade Citroën hos Peugeot, medan Maserati togs över av argentinaren Alejandro de Tomaso – racerförare och industriman med stöd från ett italienskt statligt bolag.
Under 1970-talets oljekriser beslutade sig Maseratis nya ledning för att lämna de exklusiva GT-bilarna i små serier och istället satsa på mer volymorienterade modeller, såsom 2-litersbilen Biturbo, för att konkurrera med bland andra BMW och säkra företagets överlevnad. Biturbo-modellerna tillverkades mellan 1982 och 1994, med design av Pierangelo Andreani.
År 1989 gick Fiat in som delägare i Maserati, och från 1999 slogs Maserati samman med Ferrari inom Fiatkoncernen. Från 2005 ingick Maserati och Alfa Romeo i en gemensam division inom Fiat. År 2014 kom båda märkena att ingå i Chryslerkoncernen, och från 2021 är de en del av Stellantis.
Modellen Quattroporte har tillverkats i flera generationer sedan 1963, och har alltid varit en fyradörrars sedan med sportiga och lyxiga ambitioner. Den femte generationen (M139) Quattroporte Sport GT introducerades på Frankfurtsalongen 2003 och lanserades som årsmodell 2004. Karossen ritades av Pininfarina och bilen var över fem meter lång. Motorerna var V8:or på 4244 cm³ eller 4691 cm³ i S-versionen, med effekter på 400 respektive 430 hästkrafter. Växellådorna var antingen en 6-växlad halvautomatisk DuoSelect eller en 6-växlad automat från ZF. Hösten 2008 kom en uppdaterad version. Modellen tillverkades mellan 2004 och 2012, och enligt uppgift byggdes totalt 7?598 exemplar.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
