Beschreibung
The Alfa was bought by the current owner and her husband in 1996, after it had been fully restored by a skilled mechanic at Rosso in Gothenburg. The car has been sparingly used since then, until the husband passed away a few years ago and it was put away. She now chooses to sell it as it is not being used and would be better off in the hands of an enthusiast.

Zustand technisch
Runs smoothly and the 5-speed gearbox is working well. Needs a carburetor and brake overhaul, as it misfires and runs poorly at times, and pulls to the left during hard braking. The speedometer is inaccurate, showing about 20 km/h too much.

Zustand Interieur
The chairs have been exchanged for Recaro seats that are in good condition. The rest of the interior is in used condition with faulty internal door handles, and the dashboard has some cracks at the front towards the windshield.

Zustand Exterieur
The car was renovated and repainted in 1996 and has remained in good condition. There is a scratch on the right rear fender and some scuffing on the left rear. The passenger door has had the lower part replaced and the seam is visible. Otherwise, it looks nice and has been free from rust. Good chrome and rims, and the tires have no issues. Comes with 4 original wheels with caps.

Fakten zum Modell
Alfa Romeos sexcylindriga toppmodell Alfa Romeo 2600 såldes i ytterst blygsamma volymer under 1960-talet. För att ersätta den tog man fram en mindre och billigare bil som delade tekniken med Giulian. Bilen fick en motor på 1,8 liter, men den kallades 1750 för att minna om 1930-talets framgångsrika sportbil 6C-1750 som bland annat vunnit Mille Miglia två gånger. Hjulbasen förlängdes till 2,57 m och karossen, formgiven av Bertone, var större och rymligare än Giulian. Det var den första Alfa Romeo som erbjöds med automatväxellåda.
Hösten 1971 fick bilen en större tvålitersmotor med bättre vridmoment och modellnamnet ändrades till 2000. Samtidigt uppdaterades bilen med nya strålkastare och instrumentbräda.

När den nya Berlinan introducerades 1967 fick även Bertones coupé och Pininfarinas spider den större motorn. Samtidigt försvann Giulia-namnet och även tvådörrarsbilarna benämndes 1750.
Hösten 1971 kom tvålitersmotorn och modellnamnet ändrades till 2000. Bertone-coupén tillverkades fram till 1977, då den ersattes av Alfetta GTV. Spidern fanns kvar i produktion fram till 1993.

- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
