Current owner searched for a long time for an Audi 100 GL 5E in the condition he wanted. He wanted one just like his father had when he was 12 years old. It was a real nostalgia trip when he found this one at 1900-garaget in Trelleborg in January 2021. According to the previous owner, the car was not rusty when they bought it, but it had large areas of clear coat peeling, so the car was repainted in 2019/2020 and also had an overhaul with new brakes, renovation of the original wheels with new powder coating, and a more thorough cleaning of the interior. Additionally, documentation about the car is included, including all inspection reports from 1999 onwards. It is noted that the timing belt was changed at 12,000 miles, serviced at 13,918 miles, and new tires were added. The car has now traveled 14,600 miles, which is fairly low mileage for a car that is 46 years old. This mileage is verified by inspection reports that come with the car. It drives really well considering its age. In short, it is a very well-preserved and classic Audi.

The interior is in very good condition. Plastic protection on the left B-pillar is damaged and there is a small crack in the instrument panel, see pictures.

n 1976, Audi introduced the Audi 100 model, which offered a 5-cylinder engine (along with 4-cylinder engines and diesel options). The model was a major success for Audi. It shared a similar technical layout with the previous model, featuring a longitudinally mounted engine and front-wheel drive. The Audi 100 was available as a sedan and Avant.
The Avant model was a type of station wagon and was not officially sold in Sweden, but a few units were imported. The top-of-the-line models featured the new 2.1-liter 5-cylinder engine with 136 horsepower. On the same platform, Audi also built the Audi 200 models, with the top variant being the 5T, equipped with a 170-horsepower 5-cylinder turbocharged engine.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
