“Heinz,” as the car is known, has both an unusually well-documented history and what is likely a unique specification. How many Jaguar XJ6 LWB models were produced in Pale Primrose with Bright Red interior and an electric sunroof?
During the 1990s, the car was owned for many years by a relative of the Aronsson brothers, founders of Joe’s Garage. Just over twenty years ago, it was sold to the family in Järfälla, who owned the car until it was sold six months ago.
A tremendous amount has been invested in the car over the past seven years. For example, the engine was rebuilt in 2019, and looking through the invoices, well over 100,000 SEK has been spent. The fuel system was also reviewed after a period of storage, and the car has been regularly serviced.
The car has hardly been driven in recent years, covering only approximately 700 km during the past eight years. It comes with extensive history files and a large collection of older inspection reports, which support the recorded mileage of approximately 190,000 km.
The car also received a repaint, likely carried out during the 1990s, which still presents very well today. A new vinyl roof was fitted in 2004, and importantly there are no visible rust issues or bubbling beneath the vinyl.

Zustand technisch
The car starts after a few turns and some choke, and needs a few minutes to warm up properly — the choke likely just requires adjustment. Once warmed up, the engine runs very well with a lovely sound.
The car drives very nicely through the automatic gearbox, with good brakes and stable road handling. Electric windows, mirrors, and the sunroof all work correctly, and there are no warning lights while driving. -
Zustand Interieur
Bright leather interior in well-kept condition with nice front and rear seating and generous rear passenger space. Clean leather door cards and carpets, with only a small tear by the passenger-side sill. The wood trim remains bright and elegant throughout, while the dashboard retains its original gauges and instrumentation. Fitted with a newer radio for improved usability. New headliner just fitted.

Zustand Exterieur
Bodywork is straight with well-aligned panels and doors that open and close properly all round. There are no major dents or visible damage, and the underbody appears solid with no obvious rust issues noted. The car presents as very solid overall. Paintwork is bright and tidy, having received an older repaint that still holds up well today, with only a few small chips and age-related marks visible. Chrome trim, bumpers, and hubcaps remain bright and presentable, while the vinyl roof is in very good condition with no visible bubbling or rust showing underneath.

Zustand gesamt
Good-looking and well-kept car with plenty of older paperwork. It is also a very nice driver and Long Wheel Base versions are rare.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
