Denna Jaguar importerades av en person från Orsa och den kom till Sverige 2004 ifrån soliga Kalifornien. Registreringsbesiktning utfördes. På grund av olika omständigheter så blev bilen ståendes och ägarens barn tog över bilen 2019. Efter en tids funderingar bestämdes det att avyttra bilen. Nuvarande ägare köpte Jaguaren i augusti 2019. Bilen är nybesiktigad med godkänt betyg. Interiört och exteriört är den lite sliten och bilen skulle må bra av lite omvårdnad. Lacken är blank så när som på motorhuven som är solbränd och lite matt. Småbucklor och repor finns här och där. AC kyler ej. I övrigt går Jaguaren bra i motor och drivlina. Bilen har utrustats med ett nytt batteri och nya vindrutetorkare.

The interior is in a worn, used condition. The veneer on the console between the front seats has cracks and peeling, and the veneer on the instrument panel has also peeled. Carpets and the convertible top are in good condition. The leather covering on the steering wheel is damaged, and the upholstery on the driver's seat is slightly worn.

The paint and body are in a somewhat worn, used condition with scrapes and door marks. The paint on the hood is slightly faded compared to the rest of the car. The turn signals on the front fenders are loose and not original to the car. The original turn signals for the front fenders are available and come with the car separately.

Fakten zum Modell
The successor to the E-Type, which was introduced in 1975, initially had a hard time living up to its predecessor's iconic status. This was partly unfair because the new XJ-S was a different kind of car, more of a Grand Tourer than a pure sports car. It was perhaps a nod to the American market. However, its design and lines gave it the appearance of a fast "grand road locomotive" even when standing still. Opinions were divided, but slowly but surely, it gained popularity as a fast and comfortable Grand Routier. The V12 engine, which was the only engine option initially, was powerful but thirsty. Buyers could choose between a manual transmission (until 1979) or an automatic gearbox. Manual transmission made a comeback when Jaguar also introduced the model with a 3.6L six-cylinder engine as an addition to the larger engine.
Initially, the XJ-S was only intended as a coupe, primarily due to safety considerations in the USA and Europe that led to the decline of open-top cars. However, market demand eventually led to the production of a few open-top XJ-S models through private initiatives. In the mid-1980s, a Targa variant similar to the BMW Bauer and Triumph Stag was introduced. But buyers wanted even more wind in their hair.
Finally, starting from the 1988 model year, customers could get their XJ-S as a true Cabriolet.

- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
