This car came to Sweden in 2002. The car's early years are well documented with a full service book from Germany. This naturally vouches for this being a well-maintained car.
The car's first Swedish owner was a dentist from the Trollhättan area. The car later came to Västerås and its current owner, via a car dealer in Nol. Thus, three keepers of the car. The current owner has cared for the car with great attention and carried out a number of improvements.

Zustand technisch
Runs very quietly, and the engine and gearbox are in perfect harmony, just as they should be in a Jaguar. All technical functions work satisfactorily. This includes the climate control system.

Fantastic, well-maintained, and the current owner has had the car treated with a leather conditioning treatment. This with excellent results.
Fine panels and headliner (not sagging). Extra floor mats are included. These would need a proper cleaning, however. -

Fine paintwork which we believe is the original paint. Minor stone chips and occasional scratches are present. A filled-in rust spot is located on the lower edge of one door (photo available). The taillight lenses are dull and have extensive micro-cracking. Very fine engine bay and trunk

The year is 1993, and under the long hood of the Jaguar XJ12 (internally known as the XJ81) beats a long-awaited heart. When the angular XJ40 generation was launched a few years earlier, the engineers had deliberately made the engine bay too narrow for wide engines. But after Ford acquired the company, the front end was redesigned. The world, after all, demanded Jaguar's legendary, silky-smooth V12 engine.
The result was the ultimate discreet luxury car. From the outside, only a small "V12" badge on the trunk lid hinted at the car's true nature. When the driver turned the key, the massive 6.0-liter V12 engine came to life with a barely audible whisper. With 311 horsepower, it moved the saloon with completely linear, vibration-free power.
Inside, the car was like a British gentlemen's club, filled with fragrant Connolly leather and walnut wood. The model was short-lived, however, and was replaced as early as 1994, making the 1993 XJ12 a rare and sought-after symbol of the absolute pinnacle of the British V12 era

For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
