It is hard to find any faults with this Saab 9-3, which has been owned by the same family since new. It was purchased new by the current owner's father in 2008. The purchase contract and the car's specification are among the documents included with the sale. The low mileage of 76,840 km does not tell the whole story; the fact that it was kept in a garage until 2024 is also part of the explanation for its fine condition. A parking damage at the right rear wheel was handled as an insurance claim and has been professionally repaired. The repair is not visible today. The original wheels are fitted to the car, and the sale also includes a set of 17" Aero wheels with tires as well as a set of studless winter tires on steel wheels with wheel covers. In 2024, the current owner had a Saab workshop install a removable tow hitch. Rubber floor mats and a cargo cover for the luggage compartment are included with the sale. The owner's manual is present, along with documentation in the form of a completed service book, several inspection reports, and receipts. The car is inspected through August 31, 2027. Two keys are included.

The engine runs well and the automatic transmission shifts as it should. No unusual noises could be heard during the test drive conducted as part of the documentation. The car's electrical functions such as the AC, windshield wipers, electric heating, radio, power mirrors, and Night Panel have been tested and are working. One of the wires in the rear window defroster is not functioning.

Zustand Interieur
The interior is intact and clean, with no wear on the seat upholstery. The door panels and headliner are also in good condition. The glove box release button is one of the few areas showing any kind of wear – see photo.

Zustand Exterieur
The exterior impression is very good. There is a small spot of rust on the outer edge of the front passenger door – see photo. The rear wheel housings have also held up well; only a hint of rust is visible at the innermost edge of them – see photos. The tires are old but have good tread.

Min pappa köpte den ny 2008 vid 82 års ålder, och mamma tog över den 2016 när hon var 81 år. Jag har haft den sedan 2024, och jag tycker att den är lite för fin för att användas som andrabil i min familj. Det vore trevligt om den kunde hamna hos en Saab-entusiast som kan använda den mer som hobbybil.
Fakten zum Modell
The Saab 9-3 Sport Combi premiered at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2005. By then, the sedan and convertible versions of the second-generation 9-3 were already available – the generation now known as the 9-3 NG – New Generation. For the 2008 model year – which the auction car is from – the 9-3 received an updated front-end design. The Saab 9-3 NG was produced right up until the company's bankruptcy in December 2011. In total, 58,174 examples of all body styles had been produced. Under NEVS management, a further 451 examples of the 9-3 were later produced, all of them sedans.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
