The car has been owned by the same family since 1964. During the car's early life, it was used, among other things, on some longer holiday trips. From 1974 it has been used for shorter trips.
Since the family moved in 1989, the car has been in a warm garage. The bubbla was last inspected in 2012.
The car has been started up for this auction for the first time since 2013 and started on the third try!! The odometer has probably gone around the clock, so it should have travelled around 190,000 km.
The people's car comes with, among other things, a roof rack, extra bumpers, hubcaps, older studded tyres, rear lights and more, see pictures.

Works well both engine and drivetrain. The engine was changed sometime in the late 70s.

Zustand Interieur
The interior is in good condition for being 63 years old. Nice original upholstery that has been covered for many years. Some discolouration/stains on the back seat backrest. The headliner, parcel shelf and C-pillars are covered with crushed plush. The protective panel that covers the back of the instrument panel from inside the trunk is loose and fixed with tape, see picture.

An old repaint in the 70s. Body and paintwork with small dents and scratches. The car has been rust-treated, also in the 70s.

Fakten zum Modell
Volkswagen Typ 1 behöll sin grundform men i praktiken kom det nyheter varje år.
1959 var sista året för körriktningsvisarna i b-stolpen. Nytt var också krängningshämmaren och den förstärkta kopplingen. Året innan hade rullgasen ersatts av en vanlig pedal men en större nyhet var den stora bakrutan. Det skulle dock dröja ytterligare två år innan det var dags för helsynkroniserad växellåda och 34 hästkrafter istället för 30.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
