From 1998 onwards, the PX200E model received an update, most notably an efficient disc brake. Because of this, it is for many considered the most attractive version of the PX scooter. For anyone curious about the classic scooter scene with manually shifted, steel-bodied scooters, this example represents a particularly good and rare opportunity. The latest approved inspection was carried out on 2025-10-02.
Trivia: This version, finished in a subtly shimmering metallic red, is believed to be the same color used by Ferrari’s F1 team for a period. And from that production batch of the model series sold in Sweden, many seem to have been registered within the SGB XXX number range. At least four examples in that series have been identified.

A new battery with good starting power has been installed, but it is slightly too large in depth and has the wrong pole orientation. The connections still work fine, but the spare wheel cover fits a bit tighter. The engine started easily with fresh fuel, the gearbox needs new oil, and the gear lever needs lubrication.

Nice original paint with a few marks, mainly on the front fender where a workshop once dropped a tool but later refused to acknowledge the mistake. Not very noticeable, but still there. Older Pirelli SC30 tires with the classic tread pattern, most likely the delivery tires from 2001, as the spare wheel is worn smooth and was probably the original rear tire. A scooter-enthusiast friend of the owner once painted the rear bumper in the colors of the Italian flag, but an original grey one is easy to find if desired.

A specific, purely subjective, and to some extent even slightly vain suggestion to make this example even more attractive would be the following: New quality tires, an H4 headlight with clear glass, replacement of brake fluid and gearbox oil, lubrication of the gear linkage at the engine and in the handle, replacement with a relatively quiet yet slightly more efficient silencer known as the SIP Road 3 (and thereby also changing the main jet from 116 to 120), removing the large mirrors and fitting a Stadium legshield mirror, checking the oil seal for leaks at the output shaft by the clutch (oil can spread onto the rear brake drum, though we saw no such tendencies on this scooter), checking for 2T oil leaks around the carburetor box, changing to white indicator lenses, and buying a permanently mounted soft bag for the luggage rack. For example. Fun and rewarding tinkering.

- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
