The first owner, who owned a furniture company, had the car from 2004 to 2006. It was then owned by the previous owner from 2006 to 2024 — an impressive 18 years — which strongly suggests that the car has been well cared for throughout its life.
The current owner purchased the car last year and has used it as a summer vehicle. It is now being sold due to lack of garage space and a desire to switch to a convertible instead.
Recently serviced with new fuel and brake lines, and newly inspected until 2026-11-30, the car is ready for its next owner. Mileage is low at only 127,000 km, verified by the service book and previous inspection reports.

Zustand technisch
The engine starts instantly and runs smoothly, with an exceptionally clean and tidy engine bay. On the road, the car feels stable, quiet, and refined, yet when you press the accelerator, you’re greeted by the deep and satisfying sound of the V8. The 5G-Tronic automatic transmission shifts smoothly through all gears, and the brakes perform well.
The air suspension operates correctly, raising and lowering the car as it should, and the air conditioning blows cold. There is a small crack in the top corner of the windscreen and a broken washer bottle cap "see pictures". The car comes with a spare wheel and complete tool kit in the boot, and a set of attractive alloy wheels with good tyres. -
Zustand Interieur
The interior is exceptionally clean and well-kept, with beautiful leather seats all around showing no damage. The door cards, carpets, and headliner are also in very nice condition — the only remark being some stains on the carpet in the boot. The dashboard is undamaged, featuring elegant wood trim throughout.
All electric seat functions, including tilt and slide, work perfectly, as do the electric mirrors, windows, sunroof, radio/navigation system, and side distance sensors. The only noted issue is that the soft-close function on the driver’s door is not working properly.
It’s truly remarkable how modern and solid this car feels, despite being over 20 years old — a clear testament to Mercedes’ build quality and engineering. -
Zustand Exterieur
The car presents itself very well overall, and with its alloy body and composite panels, it does not suffer from the typical rust issues found on many other models. As shown in the photos, there are a few small paint blisters, mainly oxidation beneath the paint around the sunroof and upper side roof panels. All body panels are straight and undamaged, with only minor hairline crack on the edges of both front wings — these are composite plastic and not of major concern "see pictures". The underbody is exceptionally clean, and the paintwork is tidy and presentable, with evidence of a previous repaint on the rear right wing and bonnet. There is a slight color difference on the wing and some light polishing marks visible in places (see pictures).

It’s hard to find a cooler coupé from the early 2000s that combines this level of style, comfort, and V8 performance — it truly offers an impressive amount of car for the money.

- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
