The current owner has owned the Saab for 17 years. When he bought it, it had driven approximately 70000 km, and now the odometer reads 128,528 km, so roughly 60000 km in his ownership. He has only used the Saab in the summer. It has been treated with rust protection at Rostskyddsmetoder. The owner has changed the oil and serviced it every autumn. The clutch was replaced three years ago, and the Saab got new tires in 2023. The car has its original paint, which is in good condition, but the boot lid could benefit from polishing. The body has no visible dents or door marks. It is equipped with a Clarion radio/CD with a wood-imitation front and a black electric antenna. The car comes with an original luggage rack, wind deflector, and convertible covers. The Saab sits on fine Pirelli 205/55x16 tires mounted on nice 16-inch rims. A very nice car in the eye-catching Monte Carlo yellow color. Perfect with the convertible top down for summer outings.

Zustand technisch
The engine runs smoothly, and the gears shift nicely. There's a pleasant sound from the classic engine. However, the cruise control is not functioning. The reclining button on the driver's seat is broken, but the lever still works, as shown in the picture.

The interior is in good and well-maintained condition. The instrument panel is intact and clean. The floor mats are whole and clean. The trunk area is tidy and clean, including under the trunk floor.

Nice, as far as I can tell, original paint. The trunk lid needs a thorough polishing. The car's black details such as bumpers and trim are in good condition. The convertible top mechanism works as it should. However, the frame of the convertible top has some rusting, as seen in the picture. The wheels and tires are in good condition. The Saab looks good underneath as well.

Fakten zum Modell
With great fanfare, Saab unveiled an open convertible concept at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1983. The audience liked what they saw, and a couple of years later, the 900 Cabriolet was ready for production. The model gave Saab high status abroad, and when the second generation Saab 900 was developed, the convertible version was included from the start.
The Norwegian-born designer Einar Hareide led the design effort, resulting in a mix of typical Saab lines and modern aerodynamic design language. Unlike its predecessor, the rear end was higher, with an integrated spoiler and neatly incorporated central brake light. The soft top was, of course, operated electrically, and there was a wide range of engine options available, ranging from naturally aspirated to turbocharged and even V6 engines.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
