The car was first registered on April 11, 1974, in Örebro, where it spent its initial 35 years. During this period, it had two owners. A vehicle inspection report from March 29, 2006, confirms the mileage, which was 88 080 km at that time. At some point during this period, the car was repainted, presumably in the 1990s. The repainting was well done, as the paintwork remains in good condition to this day. After a brief stint in Stockholm for 5 years, the car returned to Örebro. It was purchased by a Saab collector and enthusiast on October 10, 2014. It was off the road and remained so until it was brought back into use in March of this year.

Saab has not been tested by BWA, but according to information, the car should run fine. The following has been done before inspection: Rear brake replacement and replacement of a leaking brake line. Replacement of the starter motor. New tires. New alternator. Fan bearing replaced in the engine. Tank cleaning. New battery.

Zustand Interieur
Interior in good condition with signs of normal use. There is a crack in the seat upholstery on the passenger side. A completely new, period-correct Ardex upholstery is included in the purchase.

An older, professionally executed paint job still in good condition. Mouldings, chrome, as well as wheels and tires are without issues. Slight dent on the driver’s door. The car has not been photographed by BWA.

- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. - During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
