This copy was delivered to a gentleman in Benalmadena Pueblo, which is located south of Malaga in southern Spain. It was then top-of-the-line, as the last ones had automatic transmission and ABS. The buyer traded in his extremely nice ID 19 -69 with only 9000 kilometers on the odometer. The Citroen dealership in Fuengirola where he exchanged his ID still has it on display. The current owner of this CX purchased it directly from the then-90-year-old owner and used it in and around Fuengirola for several years before driving it to Sweden a few years ago. It was registered in Sweden and has since been used sparingly during the summer. When we passed through Madrid on the way home, the odometer read 80,000 km. On Sunday afternoon, Paris was triumphantly passed. As the Paris roundabouts passed, some motorists stepped aside, exited, and saluted. In Paris these days, a CX is quite unusual. 4003 km was completed in slightly more than 2.5 days, which speaks to the quality and comfort of a large Citroen from the 1980s designed in the early 1970s.
This Citroen CX GTI is one of the most recent models produced in 1987. The chassis number indicates that it is a 1988 model year. In 1988-89, almost only Turbo 2s were produced, with a few variants in a later version. Combi and Familiale were the big productions at the time. Production ceased entirely in 1991, with almost all ambulances and other special vehicles remaining on the market.

Citroën CX GTI har en motor på 2500 cc med en maxeffekt på drygt 130 hästkrafter. Detta exemplar är utrustad med en 3-växlad automatlåda. Med automat var toppfarten 194 km/h och 0-100 km/h klarades av på 11,7 sekunder. En vanlig GTI kostade i Sverige 1987 127 400 kr men med automat och ABS-bromsar steg priset till 150 000 kr.

- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
