This car was purchased by a woman in 1997. The Volvo was her pride and joy, and she took excellent care of it. When the woman passed away in 2017, her husband took over ownership and treated the car in the same manner as before. The Volvo is a family-owned car with low mileage, around 60 000 km, approximately 2 500 km per year. It retains its original paint and is in very good condition. The interior is also in excellent and well-maintained condition. It has always been stored indoors in a heated garage when not in use. The Volvo has mostly been used for trips to and from the store, as well as a few journeys within Sweden. Over the last ten years, the car has been sparingly driven. It's in almost new condition, and you can still experience the scent of a new car.

Runs well in the engine and shifts smoothly. Timing belt was replaced at 58 000 km in 2010 since the car had been driven very infrequently. The air conditioning has not been converted to the newer refrigerant.

The interior is in almost new condition. You can still experience the scent of a new car. The headliner is intact and in good condition. The upholstery is clean and well-kept. A car that you don't need to clean as the first thing you do.

Bilen är mycket fin i kaross och lack. Upplevs som rostfri och vid fototillfället upptäcktes ingen rost. Det borde finnas någon liten rostfläck, men jag såg ingen.

A truly beautiful 940, well worth preserving. It's becoming increasingly difficult to find a Volvo with such low mileage in such excellent condition.

Fakten zum Modell
The Volvo 940 was introduced in 1991 and remained in production until 1998. The model became known for its trouble-free and reliable nature. As it was largely an evolution of earlier models, proven technology was utilized, which rarely caused issues. With the low-pressure turbo (referred to as LTT), you have access to ample torque even at low RPMs.

- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
