This car was purchased by a Swede in Florida. The car was brought to Sweden in August 1988. When acquired in January 1988, it was driven 73 799 miles (approx. 118 000 km). Once in Sweden, it received a new kilometer meter. The current odometer reading is 63 733 km (6 373 mil). It has been used as an enthusiast car during the summers and has always been garage-kept. It has been the owner's "pride and joy". There were trips to the golf course, lunch meetings in the city, and short excursions, driven only a couple of hundred kilometers each season.
According to information, the car is a special model that was used as a so-called "Pace car" in several races in Florida during the 70s. The following has been done over the years, notes from the owner:
The engine and gearbox have been fully renovated. The rear bumper has been re-chromed, a stainless steel exhaust system from Ferrita has been installed. Purchase of a luggage rack. New fuel pump, new alternator, new starter motor, New ignition system, new rear suspension, new wheel bearings, disconnected AC. New tires and a radio/stereo with four speakers.
The car has also been repainted, the seats reupholstered, and a new convertible top installed. The original manual comes with the car as well as a lot of literature and papers from its time in the US and Sweden.
Serviced by Lars Tidblom Automobil for many years and Speedy in recent years.

Starts and runs fine, but the battery needs to be replaced. Since the car has been stationary recently, an inspection and service is recommended. Otherwise, it's in good condition with a stainless steel exhaust system from Ferrita. The car has not been inspected on a lift, but it has never been out in winter conditions or used as a daily driver.

The interior is intact, with reupholstered seats, but shows some signs of wear and patina. The tilt steering wheel does not lock properly, this needs to be addressed.

Fakten zum Modell
The Corvette C3 was introduced in 1968 and was built on the same chassis as its predecessor. Chief designer Bill Mitchell drew inspiration from the aquatic world and subsequently named the model Stingray. This generation of Chevrolet's sporty Corvette became a real best-seller. In 1973, the new soft plastic bumper was introduced, and the following year was the last year for the Big Block. In 1975, the catalytic converter was introduced, and the rear bumper began to be molded as a single piece. The convertible version was discontinued in 1975. The Corvette C3 was manufactured until 1982.

- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
