The car was owned from 2012 until recently by the current owner’s father, who had a lifelong passion for cars, engines, and technology in general. His spacious garage was his favorite place, always filled with ongoing projects both big and small. The radio was always on, the small fridge stocked with Coca-Cola, and he thrived among cars from different eras, each with its own character and story.
The car now up for auction was the last in his collection and a model he had long admired until the right example—a GranSport—finally appeared. Finished in Rosso Mondiale, the car had only 2,000 km on the clock when it entered the garage. Included in the purchase were a set of winter tires, which are also included now, extending the season and making it possible to enjoy the car well into late autumn.
He drove the car sparingly over the years, as there were always other gems to take out, but for longer trips within Sweden, his fine Maserati was often the choice. No major repairs have been carried out, nor any repainting or other extensive work. The car is in excellent condition and has been approved at the vehicle inspection, making it fully road-ready. Service book, original tools, and winter tires are included—see photos.

Zustand technisch
Engine and drivetrain run well. The gearbox operates smoothly and is paddle-shifted. The braking system also functions as it should. Some imbalance in the wheels was noticed during the test drive, which may be due to flat spots on the tires from long periods of standing still. The AC system works. As far as can be judged, the car’s other equipment also functions as it should.

Zustand Interieur
The interior is overall in good condition. There is a hole in the upholstery on the driver’s seat cushion. Buttons, instrument panel, and the backs of the seats are sticky. The seat backs show some scratches—see photos. The headliner is clean and intact.

The Maserati GranSport 4.2 V8 Cambiocorsa (model year 2007) is one of the most interesting Maserati models of the 2000s—in practice a sportier and more refined version of the Maserati Coupé/4200 GT. It was also the last model Maserati built with the classic Ferrari-built naturally aspirated 4.2-liter V8 before the GranTurismo took over.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
