The car was purchased 18 years ago by the current owner and underwent a complete restoration before being inspected in 2016. It has since covered approx. 9,000 km.
The car was completely disassembled and all parts, including the body, were blasted and repainted, all bushings and other wear items were replaced, as was the entire interior. A number of specific parts belonging to the GT model came with the purchase, and these have since been supplemented, so today the car is as close to original as one can get. All the specific parts are present, such as the overdrive gearbox with control lever on the steering column, the special instrument panel with tachometer and parcel shelf, the two auxiliary lights from Hella known as the cornering light and flood light, the round mirrors on the front fenders, the relay bridge for auxiliary lights and high-tone horns in the engine bay, chrome folding brackets on the seats, lights with mercury switches in the trunk and engine bay, and of course the three-spoke steering wheel with the correct emblem.
It has since been equipped with Volvo retractable seat belts both front and rear, a larger-diameter exhaust system, and 5.5-inch wheels. A new rubber floor mat and new headliner naturally enhance the impression. The trunk has a fine fitted textile carpet.
The engine is a mildly tuned B 18 with twin SU carburetors and has covered only 9,000 km since restoration and installation.
This is a distance auction. The photos and information about the vehicle and its technical condition have been provided by the owner. BWA has therefore not inspected the car in person at the seller's location.

The engine starts easily and runs well. The gearbox with overdrive function is without remarks. The clutch and brakes work without remarks. The car is fitted with a trailer hitch. The engine block has been replaced and is therefore not matching numbers.

Painted in Östersund at a professional paint shop. The paint is in very fine condition.
The chrome is in good condition, the bumpers are aftermarket-type stainless steel. The trim around the windshield is slightly damaged. Tires and wheels in fine condition. There is no rust in either the undercarriage or the body. -

A very fine car in fully working order. A highly sought-after sporty Volvo model.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
