The Phantom was built on Västerbro shipyard after the original drawings from Crandall, but was almost immediately built to its present appearance with the tire profile and windscreen in Ruben Östlund style. The boat was also equipped with a cylinder universal motor.
1988 the racer was found by Didriksons Rudling, it was almost complete but with "dead" engine on Runmarö, where she was in a boat house since the 1950 century. The renovation, which took about 1500 hours, took place between 1989 and 1993. In the final phase, miraculously, a brand engine was found of exactly the right type and model year from a laid-down lap. The boat is now in an excellent original condition.
