In short, it is auction on a Shelby GT500 from 1969. The car has been renovated into the smallest detail and valued at over 1.3 million SEK.
With its special Cobra décor, the 7 litre and 335 hp strong V8 the model is a "must-have" for intrigued collectors of American classic muscle cars.
- In the late 90s, the car was renovated meticulously in the US for six years. Since it was taken to Sweden - 2003 - it has only rolled 200 km. Today, it is still largely in condition as new, says Michael Luft, responsible for Bilweb Auctions.
The car is completely original in every detail and the only thing that has been replaced are the tires and the radiator that have been substituted by a larger one.
The orange car has won several awards at meetings and it has been an exhibition car at the Ford factory in Dearborn. Quite unique is the Caroll Shelby's autograph under the lid of the storage compartment between the front seats in full leather!
