A well known car by the multiple car award winner Leif Tufvesson. The Speedster V8 have a predecessor in Tufvesson's T6 Roadster, which also is armed with a powertrain from Volvo, the much loved twin turbo-charged inline six cylinder engine.
This car though, has a mid mounted Volvo V8, the B8444S, which was developed by Yamaha for Volvo.
The present owner had a background role during the build and has used the Caresto in normal traffic to car meetings, events and rallys for ten years. The engine has a mileage of 31 496 km's and the car itself 15 940 km's.

The Volvo Caresto Speedster V8 came as a natural progression from Leif Tufvesson's Volvo T6 Roadster, which grabbed the The Hot Rod of The Year award in the US 2004. Two year's later the Speedster and its sister car was ready to impress the world.
Leif Tufvesson's career spans from early teenage builds to development manager at Koenigsegg, and from 2004 he is operating his own company, Caresto.
