The clutch, gears, and brakes functioned well. The car was not inspected on a lift, but it appears to be in good condition underneath without any rust. Everything is working as it should.

General condition
Like most GT cars with sporty ambitions, previous owners have likely enjoyed excellent driving experiences. These owners often tend to modify their cars, for better or for worse. In this case, most of the car remains in its original condition. There are details to inspect and address, but that being said, this is a fine and practical classic with a GT and sports car feel, harkening back to the era around the 70s and 80s.

Facts about the model
While much from the Berline model existed underneath, the visible aspects were entirely different, featuring a relatively sleek, low, and sporty design. It appeared fast even when stationary, but due to the oil crises of the time, it was relatively modestly equipped, although it had a pleasant sound and GT ambitions. Originally equipped with a straight-four engine of 1.8 liters, models with 1.6-liter and 2.0-liter (131 hp) engines also came along. Rear-wheel drive, combined with good weight distribution, a refined chassis setup, and suspension, provided excellent and sporty driving characteristics.
By the 1981 upgrade, the Alfetta name disappeared, and the car had to prove itself on its own merits, which it successfully did.
Additionally, a 2.5-liter V6 engine was introduced. It was simply called the GTV 6 and quickly gained the nickname "Turbodödaren" (Turbokiller), as the marketing aimed to rival the Turbo craze of the time. Alfa also developed a turbocharged version, but limited it to a four-cylinder engine of just under two liters, producing it in a small series from the brand's racing department.
In total, the Coupe version was produced for 13 years in 135,400 units.
