Description
Although complete and solid, the car required restoration work. The body was repaired and welded, with most of the rust found around the rear of the car. The engine was stripped, inspected, and rebuilt with new bearings, piston rings, and other worn components replaced. The braking system was fully overhauled, including a new master cylinder. Older photographs documenting the restoration are included with the sale.
The restoration was completed in 2008, when the car was also given a full repaint and passed its final inspection. Since then, it has been lightly used during the summer months, mainly for local classic car events, and has always been kept in good running and driving condition.
One particularly appealing feature is that the car retains its original interior. The seats have been re-padded for improved comfort, while the remaining trim, including the original rubber flooring, has been carefully preserved and shows only light age-related wear.

Mechanical condition
Easy to start, needing only a minute to warm up before settling into a smooth, steady idle. The car is light, nimble, and great fun to drive, with a smooth-shifting gearbox once you're familiar with the gear pattern. It feels tight on the road, and the brakes perform well. The engine bay is clean and tidy, with recent work including a new water pump, ignition condenser, and a full oil and fluid service. The heater system is currently disconnected. It sits on a nice set of wheels with good tyres, is inspection-exempt, and ready to be enjoyed.

Interior condition
A real highlight of the car is its original interior, which retains all of its 1960s charm. The seats are in good condition throughout and are complemented by matching door cards, panels, and a tidy headliner. The original rubber floor covering is complete and well preserved, showing only light age-related wear. The dashboard is clean, tidy, and undamaged, perfectly reflecting the simple elegance of 1960s French design.

Exterior condition
A great-looking car with straight bodywork and panels, free from dents, damage, or rust, and the underbody is equally clean and solid. The paintwork has a deep, glossy finish with no issues to report, while the chrome trim and brightwork are in good condition throughout. Also included are a spare set of bumper overriders and a grille surround, as shown in the photographs.

General condition
These cars attract attention wherever they go, and it's rare to see one on the road—especially a Gordini version. Fun, easy to drive, and full of character, you'll almost certainly be the only one arriving in one at your next classic car event.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
