Description
This is one of the few Saab 9-3 Turbo 4 cars manufactured by NEVS. According to reports, a pre-series of 30 cars was produced, followed by 421 cars that were sold. They were available in silver or black metallic with manual or automatic transmission. This particular car is said to have been manufactured in April 2014 and is one of 204 cars produced in black with an automatic transmission. It was first registered by NEVS on February 4, 2015. On April 1 of the same year, it was registered with the Saab dealer in Järna. On April 16, it was purchased by the first and only owner who has used it since. It has lived a quiet life and has only covered 2970 km, which is confirmed by inspection reports, etc. It has hardly ever been outside of Sörmland.
Describing an eight-year-old car as being in "mint condition" can be a stretch, but in this case, it is very close to the truth. It is in an exquisite, well-preserved original condition and has spent most of its time in its garage. It was primarily driven during the first few years and has since been in a Sleeping Beauty-like slumber. It has now been inspected and is ready to drive.

Not tested for long drives, but everything appears to be in the condition of a genuine low-mileage car. The car was driven 12 miles in mid-April, in connection with a service at Järna Bilcentrum and inspection. At the service, the engine oil, filter and brake fluid were changed.

A Swedish car of great historical interest. The combination of Saab/Nevs, equipment, appearance, condition and mileage make this a somewhat unique car. Whether it will be a practical or enthusiast car remains to be seen. Nevertheless, the model is already a sought-after classic.

Facts about the model
On December 19, 2011, it was a black day for Swedish motor and car history when Saab Automobile went bankrupt. The model that was on the assembly line at that time was the new 9-5 model. GM owned the licensing rights, which meant that there was no further production. In the summer of 2012, the bankruptcy estate was taken over by National Electric Vehicle Sweden, abbreviated Nevs. However, the rights to the Saab 9-3 were included. After the factories had been idle for over two years, Nevs resumed production of the 9-3 model. It was only one model series, the Saab 9-3 Aero Turbo4. It was similar to the previous 9-3 model but there were some differences. Both GM and Scania stopped some details and solutions. It was called Saab, but had different emblems, without the Gripen, etc. The seats were different and came from the Volvo XC 90. Both the fuel injection and brake systems had to be modified. It was produced in two colors, silver and black metallic. Manual or automatic, both with six gears. The base price was SEK 279,000 with an additional SEK 10,000 for automatic. This included winter tires and free service up to 9,000 miles. Reviews from motor journalists who test drove the car were mixed but still cautiously positive.
