Condition
-
Mechanical condition
The car is in excellent mechanical condition, with virtually everything refurbished using new original parts. It is equipped with newly rebuilt Porsche 356 brakes all around. The front suspension is lowered with adjustable settings (original parts included). The gearbox is from 1965 and therefore features a synchronized first gear.
The heater boxes are not installed, which is of little significance as the car has only been driven during summer. No electronic ignition, but converted to 12V. -
Interior condition
Professionally tailored interior, including upholstery, headliner, and door panels. The carpet is made to original specification, professionally bound and installed by the owner – very well executed.
A Porsche steering wheel is fitted. -
Exterior condition
A great deal of work has gone into the car’s paintwork. As previously mentioned, it has been painted in sections. The lights, chrome details, and glass are all in top condition. An Abarth exhaust system is fitted, giving it a nicely throaty sound.
The wheels are painted in the VW color Azure Blue. New tires are fitted, including the spare wheel. -
General condition
An exceptionally well-executed restoration. The car ???? just the right amount of attitude without losing its original character. The owner has shown great sensitivity and has truly achieved an excellent aesthetic balance in this car.
