Mechanical condition
Overall, it's in great condition; the cylinder head was recently rebuilt, the distributor was changed, and the exhaust system was recently replaced. The starter motor occasionally hangs. The car, on the other hand, has been kept in good mechanical condition over the years.

Interior condition
The interior has been substantially renovated and replaced, most likely 20-25 years ago, with new upholstery, door cards, headliner and carpets that is still in fantastic condition. Armrests, handles, and other accessories not shown in the photos are available. Also included are the kick panels and the portion that should be located between the pedals and steering wheel.

Exterior condition
Very nice glossy paint, earlier cellulose repainting, minor scratches visible, and a small damage to the driver's door. Chassis in excellent shape considering its age. The car has never been welded or fixed. The majority of rubber parts and seals are relatively new and in good condition. New tires with the proper dimensions. The chrome on the front bumper is a little thin.

Facts about the model
Man insåg att man måste ändra på det och 1944 premiärvisades Volvo PV 444 i Kungliga Tennishallen i Stockholm.
Bilen var dock långt ifrån körklar. Strejker och materialbrist i krigets efterdyningar försenade det hela.
Först i februari 1947 kom produktionen igång. Första serien - PV444A gjordes i 11804 exemplar fram till och med 1950. Dock räknas alla dessa som 1947 års modell.
