USA import from 1969, an early model with the small rear lights. At that time it was also equipped with SPICA fuel injection. According to the current owner, the car was purchased from Kaiser Classics in 2020, with complete documentation from 1999 to present, including competition logbook.
Previous owners were Nancy and Alastair Lockett in Seattle, well-known in vintage car racing on the USA's west coast. The car was then a dedicated competition vehicle with roll cage, fuel cell and stripped interior. It had also been lightened by removing, amongst other things, the heating package, power brake booster and rear seat.
The current owner has restored much of the original equipment, including a standard fuel tank and fuel pump, and has also reinstalled much of the interior. The roll cage has been partially removed.
The engine is lightly tuned, approximately 155 bhp, with tuned camshafts and fitted Weber 40 DCOE carburettors instead of the SPICA fuel injection. The gearbox is in good condition and the rear axle comes from a 2-litre model with limited-slip differential. The Alfan is also equipped with, amongst others: Koni shock absorbers, new front springs and quality parts from OKP, Classic Alfa and Alfaholics.
According to the owner, the bodywork has never been rust-damaged but was repainted in 2000. There are today some cracks in the paint and some wear marks from competition use. The underside is in fine condition and rust-protected with Lanoguard 2025. The car has new GTA wheels from Classic Alfa, new tyres, and new badges and chrome details.

At the time of inspection, the engine did not run smoothly and the oil pressure gauge showed essentially 0 at idle. This has now been rectified according to the owner, who has replaced the carburettor jets and filter as well as changed the oil pressure sender.

The Alfa Romeo 1750 GT Veloce (GTV) is one of the most classic models in the marque's history. It was presented in 1967 as a further development of the Giulia Sprint GT and was designed, like its predecessor, by Giorgetto Giugiaro at Bertone.
The 1969 model year belongs to the early series and is particularly interesting. The cars are recognized by, among other things, the small rear lights, and the early examples featured Alfa Romeo's mechanical SPICA fuel injection on certain markets, most notably the American market.
Under the bonnet sits the well-known four-cylinder Nord engine of 1,779 cc, with an aluminium block and dual overhead camshafts. The original engine developed approximately 120 hp, which together with low weight and a well-balanced chassis gave the car very fine driving characteristics.
The 1750 GTV quickly became appreciated for its combination of Italian design, sporting driving characteristics and practical usability. It also became popular in motorsport and competition, something that many examples still bear traces of.
The 1969 model in particular has therefore a special charm – an early Bertone-Alfa with classic details, lively engine and the driving feel that has made Alfa Romeo so beloved among enthusiasts.

For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
