When Bo Mårtensson was nine he fell in love with Chrysler. The first time he sat behind the wheels in a Chrysler Windsor he was stuck with a life-long interest.
– Soon I will be 80 years old and it´s time for someone younger to take care of these cars. My passion has always been renovating classics but it´s to heavy now days, says Bo Mårtensson
One of the eye-catchers in the collection is the De Soto Coupé from 1942. The only car in the world with a cigarette dispenser in the steering wheel hub and a window-mounted air conditioner. Both great and unusual features.
– De Soto wanted to build the ultimate luxury car with details that no other brand had. The cigarette dispenser worked fine but the hidden head lights (biggest in the world) had a construction that couldn’t handle the cold and froze a lot. Meaning you had to drive in the dark, Bo Mårtensson explains
All the cars have been stored warm and cozy in Eslöv in Sweden during all years. They are all in top-notch condition.
