A unique Saab for sale at Bilweb Auctions on the 19th November!

Saab 96 V4 Super, 1980 (68 Hp) "Run-out" model no.32 and one of the last ever made. Never driven in traffic and still equivalent to new. Absolutely unique!

This is a rare collectors model and one of the 500 last in so-called ”Run-out "sequence, when the model was discontinued in 1980. All cars in the final series had the same blue metallic color (no: 137 B), upholstery (Co8) and Ronal alloy wheels. The Saab 96 was built at the Valmets factory in Nystad (Finland) during its final years. This car has been on display in the Saab Museum in Trollhättan (Sweden) since 1988.

The Saab 96 was produced between 1960 and 1980. The V4 engine was introduced in September 1966 with model year 1967. The sales of the Saab 96 had then begun to go slow because buyers no longer were as interested in two-stroke engines. The new V4 engine came from Ford and brought new life into the 96. Although the new four-stroke engine only weighed 50 kg more than the old two-stroke, it produced 50 per cent more power and delivering a perky 65 HP. Two-Stroke engines however, came to survive another two years in parallel with the new engine option.

Take this opportunity to acquire one of the world's most unusual Saab cars. This 37 years old Saab 96 V4 Super from 1980 is to be considered as new. This is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity for Saab-collectors and car enthusiast.
